Our Story

It started at my kitchen table.

I didn't start Ksentials to build a brand. It started as a moment of peace and creativity.

I'm Karla. Miami-raised, with Puerto Rican roots, a corporate leader, wife, and mom. My life is full in the best way, but full lives still need quiet moments. For me, that moment was pouring candles at my kitchen table. No agenda. Just wax, fragrance, and a little bit of peace.

What started as a hobby in 2014 became something I genuinely loved. I spent years learning, creating, and sharing my candles with friends and family. Eventually, I started selling at local farmers markets and community events throughout South Florida. Those early market days helped shape Ksentials, and you'll still find us at select holiday markets throughout the year.

In 2020, I decided to take it further. I refined the products, developed the brand, and worked to create something that truly reflected my vision. In 2022, Ksentials was officially relaunched.

The way we make things still hasn't changed. Every candle is hand-poured in small batches using 100% soy wax, clean fragrance oils, and dried botanicals. No factory. No shortcuts. Just intention in every jar.

Today, Ksentials is a woman-owned and operated business. You can find our products online, at select local markets, and in the boutique shop at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden. As a Miami-born brand, that's something I'm especially proud of.
