Get the most out of every jar.
Your Ksentials candle is made with 100% soy wax and phthalate-free fragrance oils. A little care goes a long way.
First Burn
Always burn until the wax melts across the entire surface on the first use. This prevents tunneling and ensures an even burn throughout the life of your candle. For a 5oz candle this takes about 1.5–2 hours. For a 10oz, plan for 2–3 hours.
Every Burn
- Trim the wick to ¼ inch before every burn. This prevents black soot, mushrooming, and uneven burning.
- Never burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
- Keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris.
- Burn on a heat-resistant, stable surface away from drafts, vents, and flammable materials.
- Never leave a burning candle unattended.
- Keep away from children and pets.
When to Stop
- Stop burning when ½ inch of wax remains at the bottom of the vessel.
- The vessel will get hot — always use caution when handling a lit candle.
Repurpose Your Vessel
When your candle is done, rinse out the vessel with warm water and repurpose it as a planter, a catch-all, a bud vase, or a drinking glass. Our matte black vessels are especially beautiful as home décor.
Reed Diffuser Care
- Flip the reeds every 5–7 days to refresh the scent throw.
- Keep away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Place on a stable surface — the oil will stain fabric and wood if spilled.
- When the oil runs out, refill with our Diffuser Fragrance Oil Refill.
Room Spray
- Spray 2–3 times into the air or onto fabric from 12 inches away.
- Safe for most fabrics — test on an inconspicuous area first.
- Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
